Our Managing Director, Tom Carter, sets off on an epic driving challenge tomorrow. Dubbed ‘The Canaryball Rally’, it will see 20 teams travel across Europe to raise funds for the local charity – Norwich City Community Sports Foundation (CSF).
BUILD THE NEST
The charity is building a state-of-the-art sports facility outside Norwich, known at The Nest. The Nest is a new multi-purpose community hub in Horsford – a safe, nurturing environment where people can come and develop. In total it will cost £9.8m to build, and will include an indoor sports hall, gymnasium, a 3G football pitch and classroom facilities.
EPIC DRIVING CHALLENGE
During the five days, the teams will visit the three stadiums that Norwich City played in during their famous 1993-94 UEFA Cup run: Arnhem in Holland, Munich in Germany and Milan in Italy.
TIMINGS
- Wednesday 9th October: Depart from The Nest; finish in Dusseldorf via Arnhem
- Thursday 10th October: Start in Dusseldorf; finish in Munich
- Friday 11th October: Start in Munich; finish in Milan
- Saturday 12th October: Start in Milan; finish in Nurburg
- Sunday 13th October: Start in Nurburg; finish in Norwich
