LOTUS FACTORY REFURBISHMENT
A large cladding repairs and respray job at the Lotus factory in Hethel, Norfolk; completed in spring 2019.
All elevations of several factory buildings were looking tired and faded and in need of an overhaul, to not only improve the aesthetic appearance but to also offer a 10 year warranty on the coating system.
CLADDING REPAIRS
Several areas of corrosion were present, requiring cut-edge corrosion treatment prior to the cladding respray. This process included surface preparation, removal of loose paint and corrosion by jet washing and hand preparation, followed by application of gun-applied sealant to fill any gaps.
CLADDING RESPRAY
Our experienced on-site spraying team took 5 weeks to complete the entire project of around 3000sqm; in the chosen colour scheme of light grey, with an anthracite grey trim. The new cladding coating will protect against atmospheric, chemical and mechanical deterioration; prolonging the life of the existing panels and removing the need to replace them.
10-YEAR GUARANTEE
Completed on time and on budget, using the Rustoleum Noxyde and Metal Cladding Topcoat paint system, complete with 10-year guarantee.
