The existing industrial units at Blenheim Industrial Park in Bury St Edmunds were looking tired and in need of commercial spraying to get them back to their former glory. Cladspray Solutions were delighted to be instructed to carry out the work to give them a fresh, new look.
PREPARING FOR COMMERCIAL SPRAYING
Prior to the cladding spraying, Cladspray carried out a a thorough pressure washing of the surfaces to remove all dirt and contamination. This is essential as part of the preparation, not just to ensure a smooth surface to apply the new coating, but also to expose any areas of delaminating coating and corrosion which may have required extra attention.
As well as the plastisol cladding, all timber surfaces such as personnel doors and windows frames were abraded to remove all loose and flaking existing coatings as well.
ACHIEVING A NEW LOOK
Once all preparation was complete, we carried out spraying of all areas of cladding and masonry with a high-performance cladding coating, matched to the client’s desired colour scheme. This two-tone blue and white facade gave the units a renewed appeal, with roller shutter doors sprayed in white to accentuated the framework.

Now, thanks to the renovations made possible by Cladspray and a number of local grants, the Centre has been totally transformed. It is warm, welcoming and has new spaces for support work, groups, training, community meals and so on, and it is already a thriving hub of community activity!
