CUT EDGE CORROSION ROOF TREATMENTS

Target storage contacted us after their large industrial unit started to look dated and the roof had started to leak. During the free on-site survey, we discovered that the roof was leaking due to the onset of cut edge corrosion on the roof sheets. Our recommendation was to carry out cut edge corrosion roof treatments – a programme of repair combined with an industrial roof coating. This would not only stop the leaks, but significantly extend the lifespan of the building.

HOW TO TREAT CUT EDGE CORROSION

We began by pressure washing all the surfaces, then removing any loose paint and corrosion by hand grinding. Any gaps were then filled with a gun-applied sealant. Finally, to complete the cut edge corrosion roof treatments, we applied an industrial roof coating.

CLADDING COATING

To update the look and feel of the building, we worked closely with the owner to match a colour of his choice, and then spray applied a cladding coating over the entire building. All the work was carried out over a two-week period; all the time working around customers to ensure minimal disruption to the business.

What our customers say…

Bob Woods – Caravan Spraying

I was impressed with the company’s technique of their spraying roofs for customers from a range of industries! As they demonstrated on their website, which was what I had in mind that would/could be the ideal way of getting over our holiday static’s roof covering peeling/flaking off, after just a few years. Very helpful in understanding our special requirements on my initial contact. Then responding with their cost estimate that was realistic and very professional.

Although dear Covid interrupted their team, they still reached the target of completing before our holiday site opens in April!  Worked with our site manager courteously, taking extreme care in protecting statics either side, they completed the project to his satisfaction plus mine, having being able to view his photo of their work. The result being, an excellent professionally finished project throughout!!

Simon Vince – Partnerships for Renewables

Professional, friendly and very helpful company and guys to deal with. We bought an old industrial unit with an asbestos roof with internal guttering system that are prone to leaking – the advice and specialist solutions Cladspray provided were not only cost effective but very practical and have extended the useful life of the roof at least another 20 years – excellent company, service and support I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!
